Tough on dirt. Easy on the environment. Three generations of craft in every clean — from row houses in Dundalk to estates in Hunt Valley.
Four service lines, every job done by Jesse, never subcontracted. Transparent pricing below — we price 18-22% above franchise carpet cleaners because 46 years of family technique, direct owner accountability, and eco-friendly chemistry are worth it.
Deep hot-water extraction using eco-friendly, pet-safe chemistry. Every job includes pre-spray, truck-mounted extraction, post-groom, and stain blocker with no hidden add-ons. Standard rooms (200-250 sqft) are $95-$115 each. Three-room package is $279. Oversized rooms billed at our per-square-foot rate. Minimum job $225. Jesse performs every cleaning personally — no subcontracting, no rotating crews.
Specialized handling for synthetic, wool, Persian, Oriental, and hand-knotted area rugs. Pickup and delivery available for pieces that need controlled cleaning off-site, or careful on-site service when a rug cannot be moved. Wool and fine rugs require different chemistry than carpet and are billed at the higher end of our range. Forty-six years of experience means we know the difference between a wool blend, a silk overlay, and an antique.
Professional cleaning for couches, loveseats, sectionals, dining chairs, and fabric furniture using eco-friendly chemistry safe for cotton, linen, microfiber, and blended fabrics. Most pieces dry in 4-6 hours, not days. That ottoman in our hero photo is a real customer's piece, cleaned half-way to show the result. If you have delicate fabric or chemical sensitivity in the home, tell us when you call and we adjust the products.
Transform tile floors, showers, kitchens, and commercial bathrooms. Our rotary grout extraction pulls years of grime from the grout lines that mops, bleach, and scrub brushes simply cannot reach. Includes pre-treat, rotary agitation, hot-water extraction, and optional penetrating grout sealer to protect the result. One of the most dramatic before-and-afters we deliver — customers regularly ask if we replaced the grout.
Jesse's parents started this business in 1980. His dad ran the truck for decades — the kind of cleaner who could talk a customer through every step, answer any question about fabric or fiber, and leave a carpet looking better than the day it was installed. His mom has always handled the back office, and still schedules every appointment by phone from the home they've lived in since the business began.
Today Jesse is the one in the van. He learned the trade from his dad, refined it across hundreds of jobs, and made one firm decision: the work stays in the family. Nothing gets subcontracted out. When you book a cleaning, Jesse shows up. Every time.
Forty-six years later, we're still answering the phone, still showing up on time, and still treating every home like it's the only one on the schedule that day.
Forty-six years in the field has taught us that the right tool is the difference between cleaning a stain and actually removing it. Three pieces of equipment we bring to every job that most carpet cleaners simply don't own.
When Jesse arrives, his van is loaded with heavy commercial cleaning equipment — the kind that stays in the van. The hose has to run from the truck into your home. Most cleaners just prop your front door open, letting in bugs, losing your AC or heat, and stressing your HVAC for hours. We don't do that. The Seal-A-Door creates a tight barrier around the doorway so your home stays climate-controlled the entire time we're working.
When spills go deeper than the surface, standard extraction can't reach them. Our sub-surface tool pulls liquid out of the carpet pad itself, making it ideal for pet urine accidents, wine spills, and large liquid messes that have soaked through. It's the difference between cleaning a stain and actually removing it.
Some stains and odors are invisible until you know where to look. We use a professional UV flashlight to find hidden pet urine, old spills, and the sources of mysterious odors before we start cleaning. We don't just clean what you see. We find what you can't.
Three specialized tools. One family that's been perfecting the craft since 1980.
From Chesapeake Bay row houses to Hunt Valley estates — we cover the communities we've been cleaning for over four decades.
And all surrounding communities in Baltimore County, Harford County, Southern Pennsylvania, and the DC metro area for larger commercial contracts. Not sure if you're in range? Call 410-335-3725 — we're flexible.
A selection of recent work across Baltimore. Every photo is a real job — no stock imagery, no exaggerated lighting. Just what Jesse's equipment pulled out of the carpet.
Most of our work has always come through referrals. Here's the kind of feedback that's kept three generations of carpet owners calling us back.
Jesse showed up on time, walked us through what he was going to do, and the carpets looked brand new by the time he left. We've had him back twice.
I didn't know my tile floors could look like this. The grout is actually light-colored again. I've been mopping for years with nothing to show for it.
We use Chesapeake for our office common areas every quarter. Reliable, careful with our space, and the work holds up. Hard to find that in commercial cleaning anymore.
Real reviews will be added as they come in. If we've cleaned for you, we'd love to hear from you.

Chesapeake Carpet Care charges $95-$115 per standard room (200-250 sqft), or $279 for a three-room package. Oversized rooms are billed at our per-square-foot rate so you are not overpaying for a tiny den or underpaying for an open-concept great room. Our minimum job is $225. Pricing includes pre-spray, hot-water extraction, post-groom, and stain blocker with no hidden add-ons. We price 18-22% above franchise carpet cleaners because we bring 46 years of expertise, owner-on-the-job accountability, and eco-friendly chemistry.
Our family has cleaned carpets in Baltimore County since 1980. That is 46 years, three generations, and thousands of homes and offices. Jesse's father started the business as the on-the-ground cleaner. His mother ran the office and scheduling. Today Jesse is the third-generation operator who performs every job personally. We never subcontract.
Yes. Our tagline since 1980 has been "Tough on Dirt, Easy on the Environment." We use biodegradable, pet-safe, kid-safe chemistry, and hot-water extraction methods that minimize residue. Our approach was environmentally responsible decades before it was trendy. If you have specific allergies, chemical sensitivities, or pets, tell us when you call and we will adjust the products we bring to your job.
We serve White Marsh, Essex, Parkville, Perry Hall, Nottingham, Middle River, Rosedale, Towson, Timonium, Cockeysville, Dundalk, Bel Air, and the greater Baltimore area. We are based in White Marsh and regularly travel throughout Baltimore County. If you are unsure whether we cover your neighborhood, call 410-335-3725 and we will tell you directly.
No. Every job is performed by Jesse, the owner. We do not subcontract, we do not send a random crew, and we do not franchise our name. This is the core of how we protect our quality and our family brand. When you book with Chesapeake Carpet Care, Jesse is the person at your door, doing the work, answering your questions.
Most standard three-room jobs take 90 minutes to 2 hours on-site. Larger whole-house jobs take 3 to 4 hours. Dry time is typically 4 to 6 hours for light traffic use, and up to 24 hours for full restoration. We time our appointments so carpets are fully usable before your next obligation.
Yes. Wool, Persian, Oriental, and other fine rugs require different chemistry and handling than synthetic carpet. We pickup on-site and clean in our controlled environment, or handle careful on-site cleaning for rugs that cannot be moved. Wool and specialty rugs are billed at the higher end of our $2.50-$3.50 per square foot range because the process is longer and more specialized.
Yes. We clean office buildings, condo and apartment common areas, multi-unit residential buildings, and fulfill warranty cleaning obligations for carpet manufacturers. Commercial work is billed at $65-$85 per hour or $0.45-$0.60 per square foot depending on scope. Recurring contracts receive custom pricing. Warranty jobs are billed directly to the carpet manufacturer or property manager.
Most quotes can be given right over the phone. Jesse's mom still answers the calls — tell her what room, what size, and she'll get you on the schedule.
